01

Who we are

Elite QA (“Elite QA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a quality-inspection platform for commodities operated by Mangrove and developed by FTOR Labs. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with the Elite QA mobile application (the “App”) and related services.

This policy is written to meet the requirements of the Google Play Store and to give you a clear, honest account of our data practices. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

02

Who this applies to

Elite QA is a business tool provided to organizations (for example, quality-control companies and their customers). In most cases your account is created and managed by your employer or the organization that invited you. That organization decides which data is entered into the App and is responsible for how it uses that data.

The App is intended for professional use by adults and is not directed to the general public or to children.

03

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account & profile
Your name, email address, role, and the company you belong to. This is typically provided by your organization’s administrator when your account is created.
Inspection data
The information you enter while performing inspections — quality assessments, measurements, grades, notes, timestamps, and references to warehouses, commodities, and customers.
Photos & documents
Images you capture with your camera or select from your photo library, and files you attach as inspection evidence. These are stored against the specific inspection you attach them to.
Device & technical
Device model, operating-system version, App version, language, and an approximate/derived identifier used for the session.
Diagnostics
Crash reports, error logs, and basic performance data, collected to keep the App stable and secure.

We do not knowingly collect precise location, contacts, financial account numbers, health data, or biometric data. Photos are used only as inspection evidence; we do not scan them for any other purpose.

04

Device permissions

The App asks for the following permissions only when needed:

Camera
To photograph produce and conditions as evidence during an inspection.
Photos & media library
To let you attach existing images or documents to an inspection.
Storage / files
To save inspection data on your device so the App works offline, and to attach documents.

You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings. Declining a permission may limit related features (for example, you will not be able to add photos without camera or library access).

05

How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Provide the App and let you create, view, and complete inspections;
  • Store your work on your device and sync it to your organization’s account when you are online;
  • Generate quality reports from the data you enter;
  • Authenticate you and keep accounts and data secure;
  • Diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve reliability and performance;
  • Provide support and respond to your requests;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

06

How information is shared

We share information only as needed to run the service:

Within your organization
Inspection data is visible to authorized users in your company (such as administrators and assigned customers), according to their role and permissions. Access is restricted so companies can only see their own data.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the service — cloud hosting and database infrastructure, and an error-monitoring provider (Sentry) for crash and diagnostic data. They process data only on our instructions.
App distribution
Google Play provides the store and delivery infrastructure and may collect its own diagnostics under its own policies.
Legal
We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the public.
07

Data storage, offline use & security

Elite QA is designed to work offline. Inspection data and attachments are stored securely on your device so you can work without connectivity, and are synced to our servers when a connection is available.

We protect data with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit (TLS), token-based authentication with automatic session expiry, encrypted on-device storage for credentials, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit access to it.

08

Data retention & deletion

We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, and thereafter as required to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Inspection records may be retained by your organization as part of its quality and compliance history.

You can request deletion of your personal data by contacting us at privacy@eliteqa.app. Where your account is managed by an organization, we may direct your request to that organization, or fulfil it in coordination with them. When data is deleted, backups are purged on a rolling schedule.

09

Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email privacy@eliteqa.app.

If your account was created by your employer or another organization, please also contact that organization’s administrator, as they control much of the data in the App. We will respond to requests within the time required by applicable law.

10

Children’s privacy

Elite QA is a workplace tool intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11

International data transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than the one where you live. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy and applicable law.

12

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
